I’m Kate Jones, a UK transplant who has lived in the US for the last sixteen years. I started out in NYC, with a very, very brief stint in San Francisco, and settled down in rural Vermont eight years ago.

I'm human to two dogs, keeper of twelve chickens, and a zone 5 gardener.

I have an endless list of hobbies, but notable favorites include PC & console gaming, reading romantasy and 19th-century literature, history (especially the Ancient world), nature, melancholy music, ceramics, crime shows, action movies, crafting, Lego set building, cooking (especially baking sourdough), photography, home DIY, and houseplants.
